In addition to the Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung showed off the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra—the first phones to support 8K recording—at its Unpacked event. Capturing footage with four times the pixels as 4K is obviously going to eat up a lot […]
Cynthia sat down by the mirror with bloodshot eyes and a swollen face. Her left hand was seriously hurting and the two months old expensive Samsung phone she had received from her brother as a birthday gift was damaged beyond recognition. She could not believe what had hit her. She was so ashamed of herself that all she could do was think of how she was going to carry scars that clothes could not hide for the rest of her life. It was a question only she could answer – “If I had known I wouldn’t have gone back to James”.
The above story is what happens when you believe that an ex-partner that you left have changed for the reasons with which you left. A lot of people make that mistake in relationships and end up regretting why they had gone back in the first place. When people walk out of your life, let them walk. It simply means they finished their own part of the script. The only time you can go back to an ex-partner is if the reason you left was based on a loss of contact and relocation but one has to still be careful. The years passed might have resulted in the addition of either positive or negative changes.
Going back to an ex-partner should be avoided at all cost because of these reasons:
- Bad behaviors are difficult to change – When you leave your ex-partner because some bad behaviors that is a threat your life, going back will be a mistake. Such behaviors have become a part of them, no matter the rehabilitation. Let your going be the punishment and rehabilitation for him to be a good lover to someone else.
- Bad blood and hurt – most ex-partners are still hurt deep down and see it as an opportunity to get back at you. They will pretend to have changed and then lure you into a trap to invoke havoc on you. There are so many cases of comebacks that have turned into disaster.
- Prisoner of love – A lot of comebacks have ended up in one partner becoming a prisoner in the relationship. In order for the coming back to work, a lot of sacrifice is put in as one party tends to be the one whose love is being taken for granted. You are at the mercy of the other because a lot has passed under the bridge for a long time. The other party may treat you as a slave who has nowhere to go.
- Loss of value – When you go back to that ex-partner it shows that without him or her you cannot survive in the outside world. The mistakes you made in your past relationship should be corrected in the new one. Most ladies who are advance in age go back to abusive ex-partners just because they have lost hope in meeting new men and believe that age is no longer on their side. When you try to go back to that ex-partner you will end up reducing your value.
Never go back to that ex-partner. Move on with your life and explore the world and you will see that special person uniquely designed for you.
