Alexis Sanchez set on Manchester United exit, Chelsea target Isco

Alexis Sanchez wants to leave Manchester United following Jose Mourinho’s latest snub, the Mirror reports. The Chilean forward was left out of the squad entirely for Tuesday’s Champions League match at home to Young Boys, and that has reportedly left Sanchez – earning £500k a week – itching for a move away from Old Trafford. It has been a truly awful 2018 for Sanchez, and his spell at United makes even Angel Di Maria’s seem not that bad in comparison. Both Sanchez and United would have to accept a financial loss if he moves on – they may well both deem that worthwhile.

Following Isco’s fallout with manager Santiago Solari at Real Madrid, the Express claims Chelsea are considering a January move for the Spanish midfielder. Isco’s relationship with Solari has been described as a ‘time bomb’ by outlets in Spain, with Isco not even making the bench for Tuesday’s win over Roma. You’d imagine Chelsea would face stiff competition if Isco were available. It’s still early doors with Solari, though, so there’s plenty of time to kiss and make up.
