Baba Suwe, veteran Yoruba comedy actor has now been admitted at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) after being diagnosed of chronic diabetes.
60-year-old Baba Suwe, real names Babatunde Omidina was on Friday taken to LUTH in Idi-Araba, Lagos State.
Report say the actor’s admission was engineered by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) and also assisted by the Federal Ministry of Health.
The news of his illness broke out few days ago leading the actor to getting tremendous support form his colleagues in the movie industry and also well meaning Nigerians.
One of those who contributed for the recovery of the comedy actor is vice president Yemi Osinbajo who donated N1million yesterday.
