The Nigerian Senate has approved the appointment of Mr Tunde Lemo as the chairman of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency, FERMA.
Lemo, a former deputy governor of operations/director of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, was confirmed at a plenary session on Wednesday at the National Assembly.
Lemo and seven others, namely; Shah Abdullah, Buba Abdullah, Mujaidu Dako, Vincent Kolawale and Babagana Aji were appointed to the Board of the agency.
Senator Magnus Abe, chairman of the Senate committee overseeing the appointment, said the panel found the nominees worthy of their new positions.
