Sachet based alcoholic drinks such as spirits, rum and whiskey has made their way into the Lagos liquor market. The rate at which these drinks are consumed in Lagos is alarming especially around motor parks. It is selling faster than their cousins in bottles. This may be due to the fact that it is cheaper and irrespective of the quantity you can get intoxicated faster. Sachet liquors are an alternative for those who do not have the money to get those sold in bottles. Erujeje is an alcoholic drink that comes in sachets, small plastic bottles. There is also the newer member of the Erujeje family, Erujeje Bitters that comes in bottles as well as sachets. Derok sachets still sells more than the bottled version because of the teeming demand. This sachet liquor is for the lovers of the creamy flavor. With its viscous appearance it is the best option for those who want to enjoy the likes of Baileys which is very expensive. Best cream has the bottled ones but the demand for the sachet ones will always take the lead.

Bitters are meant to be drugs that are used to clear the colon but when a company decided to add some alcoholic components to it, it became the game changer. Origin bitters is household name in Nigeria as lots of people consume it. Origin is the No. 1 bitters in Nigeria and upstaging the Ghanaian known brand Alomo bitters known for championing the sexual prowess functionality in men. Another bitters coming to the center stage is Action bitters.
