The Jose Mourinho boys have joined their English counterpart Tottenham Hotspurs off pitch to allow the real champions continue the battle. Manchester United played a goalless draw in the first leg on an away trip. Manchester United had relinquished the zeal to score at least to gain an away advantage. The Mou boys had gone with the mindset of a draw against Sevilla in the first leg. The game plan was park the bus, deflate the tires and remove the engine.
The second leg was far better for the Manchester United side because they were out to score. The first half saw Manchester united playing so well. The first half however ended goalless. The second half had started with Sevilla advancing forward. Fine man Paul Pogba came in for Felaini while Sevilla made a change to bring in wonder boy Ben Yerder.
The introduction of Ben Yerder changed the course of the game. Two strikes from Ben had sealed Manchester United’s fate. Sevilla were the first to draw blood. The introduction of Martial and Mata could not help Manchester united avoid the crash. Lukaku pulled one back to give the Mou boys some confidence as they lodged forward.
Sevilla almost scored a third goal but it was saved by a tired Dea Gea who appeared frustrated. The final result ended in favor of Sevilla who will now advance to quarter final. Two out of five English teams are out of the Champions while Chelsea plays the 2nd leg tomorrow.
Will Chelsea fail to advance to quarter final at Nou camp?
