Just when every other movie industry had thought that they can breathe the air with Deadpool 2 out of the way, Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is set to take all super hero movie fans hostage on the 6th of July, 2018. The MCU this year alone has grossed a total of $4.057 billion worldwide from the 3 movies they have released so far. The total budget spent for all three movies cuts across $626 -700 million.
Deadpool 2 has set a new record in the history of movies for widest R-rated release ever opening in 4,332 theaters beating the record of 4,103 counts by the movie “IT” in September 2017. It also became the second best movie behind the original and also the first film to dethrone Avengers Infinity War atop the box office.
In less than 48 hours, MCU will release the sequel of the movie Ant Man titled Ant Man and The Wasp which has promised to take the same route of capturing cinemas worldwide and keeping other movies on hold. MCU has succeeded in making everybody to fall in love with super hero movies. The success of Black Panther has paved way for the other movies in their stead to get the attention of everybody irrespective of whether it is your type of movie or not.
Ant Man and The Wasp promises not to disappoint in its first opening as it opens 6th July. Movie critic giants “Rotten Tomatoes” have already rated the movie 85% high. The movie stars Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd, Michelle Pfeiffer and Lawrence Fishburn amongst others. The Ant Man is faced with a new type of foe and mission and would need a side-kick and all the help he can get to combat this new threat. Lets us head to the cinemas and see what will come out of the efforts.
