Hillary is a normal 13-year-old student at Kellett School, who attends classes and catches up with her friends. She is also the CEO of Minor Mynas, for which she was named the winner of the 2015 AIA Emerging Entrepreneur awards.

Minor Mynas is an online educational platform that facilitates language learning opportunities for kids of all ages. Through live video calls, children can engage in conversations to learn different languages from one another.

Minor Mynas currently has an operating website, and is currently in the process of expanding their interactiveness to the web, and the Minor Mynas app will launch later his month.

Amber Yang is an American student at Stanford University. In the summer of 2016, before her senior year in high school, she attended the Summer Science Program in Astrophysics and calculated the orbit of a near-earth asteroid.

She created an artificial intelligence based computer system capable of tracking and predicting the orbits of space debris.  Her work is aimed preventing future collisions of space debris with space shuttles.

“It doesn’t matter if you end up pursuing a major that has to do with computer science. Coding skills, technology skills, programming skills- these skills are so, so important to every field of work that you could possibly pursue in the future.”

Trisha Prabhu is a 17-year-old high school student, STEM innovator, Social entrepreneur, Speaker and Founder of ReThink. ReThink is a non-intrusive, innovative, software product that stops cyber bullying before the bullying occurs.

Gitanjali Rao is from Colorado and won the top prize for her project called Tethys. According to Gitanjali “Our water quality’s just as important as doctor’s appointments or dentist’s appointments” hence the need for Tethys.

Tethys is a device that can be used to easily determine the levels of lead in drinking water — something that could revolutionize water testing. Tethys is named after the Greek goddess of water and is currently one of the fastest and cheapest.
