Recently this writer's attention was drawn to Nwankwo Kanu's visit to Gov. Yahaya Bello and he did a piece on that visit.

I stated in that piece that, it was either Kanu went on the visit to discuss his project like he did with few other governors in the recent past or he was invited by Bello to help boost his suspected presidential ambition.

The second option or reason for the visit like yours sincerely noted could rub off on the former Super Eagles skipper if, the people think the aspirant should never attempt to dream of occupying the presidential Villa.

The visit of some former Super Eagles players to Bello seems to confirm the interest and intention of the governor.

Ex-Super Eagles present in Kogi include Austin Okocha, Mutiu Adepoju, Nwankwo Kanu, Peter Rufai, Ike Shorunmu, Austin Eguavoen, Ifeanyi Udeze, Uche Okechukwu, Daniel Amokachi, Taribo West, Tijjani Babangida, Victor Ikpeba, Victor Agali, Julius Aghahowa and former coach Bonfrere Jo.

From the grapevine yours sincerely scooped that more and more celebrities would soon join Bello's campaign train when it finally takes off.

In fact, the governor has concluded plans to invite high profile entertainers ranging from comedians, actors and musicians to storm Kogi. All under his presidential project.

Indeed, youthful Bello is attracting the youth to his project and dream. We wait to see how this materialise.
