The new season has kicked off and Bayern Munich has started the new season with a spectacular win over bitter rival Borussia Dortmund to lift the Supercup 2021.
With a goal from Lewandoski in the first half kicked started their journey to stardom. The second half saw the never-give up Borussia Dortmond side attacking with so much ferocity and doing all the running around just to get an equalizer. Their effort was rewarded with a Haaland goal but it was disallowed due to offside offence. A second goal came from Thomas Muller to make it two but that did not stop the Dortmond players.
A lovely winding shot from Reus gave the Dortmund side more hope of turning things around until a defensive error from a defender gifted Lewandoski his second goal of the night. Despite this setback, the Dortmond fought till the ned of the game.
Bayern Munich wants to ensure that they win 10 seasons in a roll but will Dortmund be the one to stop them?
