Ola Sandra Ndukwe recently graduated from Imo State University (IMSU). She finished with a distinction and bagged seven awards.
In an interview with major newspapers, Ndukwe revealed that to graduate with a distinction and seven awards from the medical school, "I read six hours every night, over 16 hours at weekends".
Yet no company could be magnanimous enough to present her with a car or a job or an apartment to establish or run her own private hospital. May be they're considering this idea or will consider it after this piece.
I'm yet to hear that she has been honoured by her state government. I'm yet to hear that the Federal Ministry of Education or the Federal Ministry of Youth Development (and Sports) is yet to send her a mere congratulatory message as an encouragement to her likes who are upcoming and see her as a role model.
Obviously she is not their SLAY QUEEN who would open their legs cheapishly and shamelessly before the world on a reality television show just for fame and money.
Yet they talk confidently in the society and get honoured with millions of naira, cars, apartments and all expenses paid trips to choice cities overseas....even as multi-national companies and organizations fall on each other to sign them on as brand ambassadors.
They're always welcome with a red carpet celebration into events sponsored by top companies who use their faces or images as products and services ambassadors.
