Outrage As FG Seeks Powers To Control Internet, Media Content

Social media has its merits and demerits in usage especially in this part of the world where shady things have become the order of the day. Inasmuch as there have been so much fake media contents on the internet, the control by the government is not to protect the public but also to protect themselves. One of the offences of the social media usage is the EndSars killings which the government has found difficult to hide. (Leadership Newspaper)

Most of these arrests end at the station and nothing is heard or said about it. Kidnapping has become a very lucrative business in the country. A friend who was kidnapped told me how the Police even encouraged his family to pay the ransom. He said nothing has been done even when he told them he could identify two of them.
