The Anambra State Police Command has arrested five members of an armed robbery syndicate and recovered a stolen vehicle. Spokesperson of the Command, SP Haruna Muhammed, who confirmed the arrest said that in the early hours of Monday, August 5,  at 03:30am, following intelligence report, Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) arrested the suspects  at Ojoto in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State. They are: Emmanuel Amaechi, 35,  Innocent Onyedikachi, 29 years, Obinna James, 20 years, Chukwuma Edeh, 22 and Tochukwu Owor, 27. The suspects allegedly conspired and snatched a Toyota Camry 2009/2010 model at gunpoint in Onitsha from one Nzube Udegbu on the Sunday, August 9. The snatched vehicle has been recovered and the case is under investigation after which the suspects would be charged to court for prosecution.The post Photos: Police arrest five armed robbers in Anambra, recover snatched vehicle appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
